Ahhh, Vacation!
I had a really wonderful vacation this past week. Did we go anywhere? No, except Porchville USA. It's nice to enjoy family, friends, and time without pantyhose! God knows what we need, when we need it. Physical exhaustion was clouding my judgement and my ministry focus. Praise God that He knows when we need rest and makes certain we get it. When we scheduled our vacation at the beginning of the year, we didn't know what was going to lie ahead. We just tried to "fit it all in". But, God in His wisdom had this past week "open" knowing what was going to face us in the weeks leading up to vacation. Have you ever felt like this? Seeing God's hand in even the simplest ways.

Many might not see it as "simple," but for Sean and I - we can look back on our 7 months in Maryland and see God's hand so clearly. It was as though God said last December,"OK, you want to be back east, I'll let you go back east, but only so you can see that this is not the time for you to be back east." And here we are, back in California, feeling very much at home! It's refreshing to know that God is in every part of life!
Amen . . . Gos truly is amazing . . . and continues to surpise me in so many ways.
